As parents of two young kids of 14 and 9, we pay particular attention to the welfare of our youngest guests. The large garden around Il Vichiaccio is discretely surrounded by protective fences which prevent children from getting close to any dangerous situation. 

The whole property is enclosed in the vineyards of Castello di Gabbiano, an ancient castle which in the 15^th Century used to belong to Pier Soderini, Gonfaloniere in Florence.

From the window of your apartment, especially at night, you can appreciate the majesty and the charm of this old manor.

Children will live surrounded only by the sounds of Nature, far from the noise of the public roads, and there is a very good chance they will enjoy the view of wild boars, roes, deer, hedgehogs, hares and pheasants, since Il Vichiaccio is a wildlife reserve where hunting is strictly forbidden. 

The whole outdoor area is organized to suit the children needs, and we can also offer games like swings and bowls, aside from the pool.
